Cub Scout Pack

Thanksgiving Dinner
November 17, 2007

On Thursday, November 17th, Pack 189 celebrated Thanksgiving with our very own Thanksgiving Dinner. The boys got to "break bread" with their pack family. They even got to butter their bread with some home made butter that they made themselves. Cub Master Len told a story of one of the first Thanksgiving in the new country. The boys got to tell each other what they were thankful for. We are very thankful to all the parents who contributed something to the feast. Everything was delicious. We are also thankful for all the support the parents give to our program. The Cub Scout Motto is Do Your Best and that is what we strive for. We ended the evening by giving out the Pinewood Derby cars in anticipation of our Derby in January. Wishing everyone a very happy and peaceful Thanksgiving.
