Cub Scout Pack

Harlem Globetrotters
February 17, 2008

On Sunday, February 17th, Pack 189 went to see the world famous Harlem Globetrotters. First we were treated to pre-show from a few of the players. They introduced and told them a little about themselves and spoke to the group about CHEER. Cooperation, Health, Effort, Enthusiasm and Responsibility. Then it was on to the game versus the Washington Generals (who own the longest losing streak in sports). The Globetrotters were up to their usual antics to a bunch of new fans. Even retired Globetrotters, "Sweet Lou Dunbar" and "Curly" Neal were there which was a treat for the parents of the scouts. We had a great time.
