The weekend on March 14-16, 2008 Pack 189 took a trip to Frost Valley, YMCA, in the Catskill Mountains. We stayed in a lodge with a nice big fireplace which was our central meeting place. It was Cub Scout Weekend at Frost Valley with a great amount of activities geared toward the requirements for all the ranks. We took hikes, climbed an indoor rock wall, knot tying, map and compass skills, Astronomy, outdoor living skills, rocket building, crafts, snow tubing and much much more. In between we were treated to good healthy meals and at night we played and did some skits in our lodge. This is a beginning of a tradition for Pack 189. Highly recommended
