Information On 2008 Wood
Badge
Wood Badge is the “PhD” of Scout leadership training, focusing on leadership development that is as applicable outside of Scouting as within. The course is offered once a year on Long Island, and is open to a maximum of 48 participants across both Theodore Roosevelt Council and Suffolk County Council. The course will fill up in the fairly near future, but there is still room today if you’re interested.
Most folks who go through the course come out of it absolutely charged up and excited about what they’ve just accomplished. And they also invariably make new friends across Scouting on Long Island – friendships that often last a lifetime.
If the idea intrigues you and the dates (which are two three-day weekends - August 22-24 and September 13-15) work, contact Andy
